As a child Anne always loved to paint and draw and even though her mother was an accomplished sculptor, she never imagined she would end up as one - it just crept up on her and now accounts for a great deal of her time.

A country woman to the core and always a passionate lover of animals, she was drawn naturally to sculpt a wide range: from horses and dogs, to birds, amphibians and other more exotic wildlife.

She captures the qualities of the creatures as she sees them, concentrating on the detail with a sympathy and sensitivity for the subject, producing a tactile quality which is much admired by those who see it.

From her family home in North Hertfordshire, she works mostly on private commissions, selling abroad as well as at home.
